Mission Haiti unofficially began in 1995 when Pam Plasier began her first of many mission trips to
Mike and Pam Plasier: Mike and Pam are the co-founders of Mission
1990. When their 2 sons, Craig and Andrew, were 3 and 5 years of age, they moved to
to open an orphanage for a ministry out of
girl named Jasmine. They are currently living stateside and traveling back and forth leading
teams to minister to the Haitians.
Peggy Almond: Peggy and her husband Roger live in Lennox, South Dakota. Peggy has been on the
board since 2005 and heads up the prayer team for the ministry. She is responsible for keeping
prayer a main focus of the ministry.
Rebecca Wimmer: Rebecca and her husband Aaron live in
they are busy raising their 3 blessings, Seth, Micah and Loren. Rebecca has been on the board
since 2005 and does a wonderful job designing the newsletters, brochures and presentation
boards.
Colleen Logan: Colleen Logan and her husband Stan live in
her time between enjoying her grandkids and preparing fundraisers for Mission
creates events that not only raise funds that help keep the orphanage and ministry running but
also provides opportunities for outreach and fellowship.
Lynae Scotting: Lynae and her husband Greg live on a farm in
have been blessed with 4 wonderful children, Tate, Matthew, Hope and Riley. Lynae joined the
board in 2007 and has taken on the huge responsibility of organizing the school sponsorship
program.
Jeff and Deb Tornow: Jeff and his wife Deb live in
children, Seth, Matt, Cassie and Nathan. Jeff looks at the ministry from a business point of
view promoting fundraisers and making public announcements. He analyzes ministry events to
maximize our effectiveness. They come alongside us to be sure we are walking out our calling
in the most effective way possible.
