Gift Wrapping
Date: December 12th and December 19th
Time: 6:00pm- 10:00pm
We need 4 adult volunteers for each date to wrap presents for the public at Barnes and Nobles in Sioux Falls, SD. Mission Haiti will receive a free will donation for doing this event. Please call Colleen at 605-941-4356 if you can volunteer.
Volunteer Leader for Expecting Mother's Program
The Expecting Mother's Program is a class for pregnant women in Haiti. They will learn the importance of nurturing their child as well as how much their child is a gift from God, not another mouth to feed. For attending the classes, they will receive baby items for their child. Here in America, we host baby showers for the expecting mothers in Haiti. Guests bring a baby shower item from a list they are given to choose from and together we put together packets for the mothers that attend class.
We are in need of an indivudual to head up the Expecting Mother's Program. This would involve organizing baby showers with groups or individuals who are interested in hosting such an event and being sure the kits are complete.
