Here at Mission-Haiti we focus on 5 key areas to helping the children of Haiti. They are as follows:
1. Orphan Ministry: Our orphanage in Ti-Riviere opened in 2007. It is home to 8 Children. The orphanage is run by American Missionaries with Haitian help. Our goal is to keep the orphanage family centered with no more than 10 children to a house. The children learn life skills by going to school, having daily Bible lessons and helping with home responsibilities. For more information on our orphanage click here.
2. School Sponsorships: Mission Haiti has 4 elementary schools. Individual sponsorship provides children with an education, school supplies and a meal. We also provide individual sponsorship for the older students to attend high school, vocational training or college. We currently have over 600 students attending school. Hundreds are still on a waiting list to go to school. For more information on school sponsorships, click here.

3. Evangelism: Evangelism is at the center of our ministry. Our desire is that people would see the love of Jesus in all we do. We share His love by helping provide for their physical needs of food, clothing, medicine and shelter (James 2: 14-17). Spiritual needs are met through prayer, Bible lessons and home visits.
4. Medical Care: In order to provide on-going medical care, we partner with a local man trained in emergency medicine. Short term team members set up mobile clinics in the nearby villages. In order to overcome the high infant and mother mortality rate during pregnancy, we teach prenatal, infant and toddler classes. Mission Haiti is always in need of medical supplies and individuals with medical training.
5. Short Term Missions: One of our goals is to provide an opportunity for people to experience ministry in a third world country. We take many week long mission trips throughout the year. Mission trips can be tailored to fit the individual group and gifts they bring. The emphasis of each trip may be different whether medical in nature or focused on building projects, orphan care, school registration and follow up, or evangelism and fellowship.
