Gerald and Lexi Oudman will be moving down to Haiti this summer to serve as missionaries for Mission Haiti. Gerald's main tasks will be serving as a teacher in the new Christian academy and managing the finances for Mission Haiti. Lexi will serve as a team leader when short-term teams come down to Haiti.

Lexi grew up in Sioux Center Iowa. She attended Dordt College and graduated with a secondary education degree in history. While Lexi was studying abroad in the Netherlands, she met her husband Gerald. He followed her back to the U.S. to do his student teaching at Sioux Center Christian. They were married in the summer of 2013.  Lexi has taught at Sioux Falls Christian for the last four years. She has a passion for adventure and following God’s lead to all corners of the globe. Lexi is excited to work with the teams that are coming down and partner with the Haitians to help grow future leaders.

Gerald grew up in Ten Boer, the Netherlands. He attended the Gereformeerde Hogeschool in Zwolle, Netherlands earning his bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Gerald has worked for the IT department at Sioux Falls Christian for the last three years. He is looking forward to working for the Mission Haiti ministry as well as using his gifts as a teacher to educate the children attending The Jean Alexis Kuislin Academy.
