| Our Orphanage |

Orphans are called “dogs” in Haiti. They are given no time to grieve because they are immediately in a vulnerable position. We had a dream of opening an orphanage for the many kids that have no parents due to mothers dying during childbirth or illness and fathers absent from the home due to desertion or death. God has commanded us to look after orphans in their distress, (James 1:27) but we have found it to be one of the greatest joys in life.
In the orphanage, children are provided plenty to eat, a comfortable bed and an education, but best of all, love and affection from the couple who attends to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. While fun is a part of every day, they are rounded out with daily chores, devotions and serving those less fortunate in the community. To see how you can help, see our current needs page. |
