Hurricane Relief Fund

Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and Hurricane Irma in 2017 serve as devastating reminders that Haiti rests in a dangerous part of the Atlantic during hurricane season. Often times, Mission Haiti is in the path of destruction. Though we praise God for protecting our employees and missionaries, we mourn for those who have experienced great loss.

News: Mission Haiti dealing with Hurricane Matthew first-hand

Mission Haiti is a group that has worked very closely with the Haitian community for the past 20 years.

They were there in the 2010 earthquake and are once again providing a bit of support after last weeks natural disaster.

The videos of Hurricane Matthew are tough to look at, many families left scrambling after losing everything.

News: Mission Haiti Suffers Serious Damage

Kelo News reported on the devestation in Haiti.  

A non-profit ministry based in Sioux Falls has been directly impacted by Hurricane Matthew. 

Mission Haiti suffered serious damage to its compound when the-then category 4 hurricane passed directly over Haiti. Now the ministry is praying for relief efforts.

Paul said everyone is doing well. Luckily it was dry there today. Paul said any additional rain is just like salt in the wound.

Today (Wednesday, October 5), the team delivered some rice meals to people in need in our village. Tomorrow (Thursday, October 6) they plan on trying to get to some of our surrounding villages to evaluate the damage, check on our schools and deliver some meals there as well.

Medical Clinic Administrator Position Available – Mission Haiti, a Christian non-profit organization based out of Sioux Falls, SD, is looking for a Medical Clinic Administrator. We are searching for someone whose desire is to love Jesus and serve others through medical clinic administration. They will report to the Medical Director.

Dr. Mary Berg Hired as Medical Director

Mission Haiti would like to introduce the newest member of our team. Dr. Mary Berg has agreed to serve as the Medical Director for Mission Haiti’s new medical clinic. Dr. Berg is currently a Family Medicine Physician with the Sanford clinic on 26th & Sycamore in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Dr. Berg attended Creighton University for her undergraduate and medical school education and she also has her MBA from the University of Sioux Falls. Dr.
