Why Isaac and Chelsea work for Mission-Haiti:
"Shortly after meeting Chelsea at a church we both attended in August of '15 she asked me if I wanted to go on a mission trip to Haiti. I had grown up doing mission's with my church but was never able to go out of the country so when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it. Needless to say the first short term mission trip I was apart of with Mission-Haiti changed my life. I had never felt closer to God and had never been impacted so strongly both spiritually and emotionally as I had been that week. A couple months and another short-term trip with Mission-Haiti later I got to marry Chelsea on November 12, 2016. We bought a house in Sioux Falls and started to settle down when we got to head back to Mission-Haiti for the first time as a married couple. Before this trip we had had conversations about someday wanting to do full-time mission work but we were unsure when it would be. During a conversation on the plane ride home from the trip, it came up that we had both felt like we should apply for the full-time missionary positions that were going to be opening and were hoping the other person felt the same way. A couple weeks later we informed our families that we were moving to Haiti! We moved down to Mission-Haiti in August of '17 and are loving being here full-time and watching God change lives, both of the locals and of those who visit on short-term teams."
